I want every day to be a fresh start on expanding what is possible.” Oprah Winfrey

Sometimes you need to star your day with some fresh energy and delicious food… I’ll suggest you to try this very simple breakfast:
IMGP5386rice and cereal (Eating cereal at breakfast time can help people manage their weight and eat more healthily throughout the rest of the day. Wholegrain cereals may assist in maintaining weight or can be part of a weight-loss program. The fiber in wholegrain cereals assists in increasing the feelings of fullness, thus maintaining steady blood sugar levels, which aid in decreasing hunger cravings. This assists in decreasing the amount of fat consumed in a diet. Many cereals are low in fat, in particular saturated fats, or the unhealthy fats. More information here.IMGP5385with no dairy yogurt  (I like soy or rice yogurt). Simple, easy to digest and complete for your morning… !Soy yogurt may have a slight beany soy taste when made directly from freshly prepared soy milk, but this is less pronounced in shop-bought soy yogurt and in soy yogurt made from commercial soy milk.

Soy yogurt contains less fat than yogurt made with whole milk. This amounts to about 2.7% (the same percentage as soy milk), versus 3.5% in dairy yogurt. However, dairy yogurt can be made with 2%, 1%, or fat-free milk, and soy yogurt can also be made from reduced-fat soy milk. I’ll suggest to read this article about benefits of soy yogurt.

If you need some fresh energy also in to the afternoon I’ll suggest you a light lunch with this simple recipe (vegan, raw, gluten free):
