Recently I wrote for Promiseland an article about Chlorella.
One of the oldest forms of plant life on earth, chlorella is a unicellular, microscopic, fresh-water green algae, power-packed with nutrition. Chlorella is 68% complete protein, and contains rich stores of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF).
Chlorella has been extensively researched in Japan in connection with many of today’s key health concerns. As one of the most popular nutritional supplements in Japan, chlorella has earned its reputation as the ultimate green superfood.
chlorella is used for preventing cancer, reducing radiation treatment side effects, stimulating the immune system, improving response to flu vaccine, increasing white blood cell counts (especially in people with HIV infection or cancer), preventing colds, protecting the body against toxic metals such as lead and mercury, and slowing the aging process.
Chlorella is also used to increase “good” bacteria in the intestine in order to improve digestion; and to help treat ulcers, colitis, Crohn’s disease, and diverticulosis.
Some people also use chlorella for the prevention of stress-related ulcers; treatment of constipation, bad breath, and hypertension; as an antioxidant; to reduce cholesterol; to increase energy; to detoxify the body; and as a source of magnesium to promote mental health, relieve premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and reduce asthma attacks. It is also used for fibromyalgia.
Chlorella is applied to the skin for treating skin ulcers, rashes caused by radiation treatment, and a sexually transmitted disease called trichomoniasis.
How does it work? Chlorella is a good source of protein, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals. The cell wall of chlorella must be broken down before people can digest it.
On this article you’ll find some interesting information.
I received some sampler from Sun Chlorella (thank you for courtesy and for the good health guide….!!!! It’s really a surprise!!): Sun Chlorella ‘A’ granules and tablets.
I used the first to made an interesting super green smoothie with few simple ingredients:
2 tangerine (organic and local)
1 served of Sun Chlorella
1 spoon of coconut milk
1 lemon squeezed
Blending all ingredients you’ll feel the scent of Chlorella: strong and similar to spirulina but the taste it’s very different. Soft and simple to digest…! I also added a pinch of ginger…I like it you know!
I really suggest to buy this product: the quality of product is really good, also the price and the shipping so fast!
