…I’m vegan and i think it’s right doesn’t mean that it’s right for someone else and vice versa…
I’m thinking a lot about freedom…freedom of choices….
Being vegan brings great benefits like higher energy, cleaner body, clearer mind and astuteness. But to me – given the knowledge- it is like a pain, an awareness of all the suffering, a pain that I can’t shake off.
“Animals do not ‘give’ their life to us, as the sugar-coated lie would have it . . . They struggle and fight to the last breath, just as we would do if we were in their place. ” John Robbins
If you think its cruel to hurt a dog you know it’s cruel to hurt a cow or pig, at least in your sub-conscious you understand. The Right to Life is the Choice argument, and that choice remains with the consideration of the Victim, the Owner of the Right, not with the Perpetrator, who seeks to destroy that natural right.
People declare that animals are not sentient (not true), but at the same time claim THEMSELVES not to be sentient! It hurts the victim regardless of whether the violence is intentional or routinely ignored.
Animals and humans have the ability of empathy, so use it, animals and humans have the ability to feel pain, so avoid it. It doesnt matter HOW you do it (substition, juicing, raw vegan, gluten-free, world-cuisine, low fat, lunchbox, gourmet, highcarb, high protein) just go cruelty-free!
Few months ago I wrote an article Manifesto Vegano…but sometimes I felt like people doesn’t really read this piece…
Doesn’t matter… The more you love your decisions, the less you need others to love them!
“As long as humans continue to be the ruthless destroyer of other beings, we will never know health or peace. For as long as people massacre animals, they will kill each other.” Pythagoras (570 -495 B.C.)
