Gratitude begets gratitude

19 Nov

You need some rest..you look tired…
I know…thank you to tell me the truth! (from conversation with a friend)

It’s true but at last in this special day, I’d like to share with you a special tips about gratitude inspired by a post that I recently read.

Try to write two things down every morning for which you are thankful.  Might be the same two things for a while, but the list will start to get longer.

Take a breath.  Enjoy this moment.  Even the bad days… They are still days spent alive, with a few more hours to turn it into a good day, or even just a great day.

Help someone who needs it.  The neighbor who’s struggling with her grocery bags, the co-worker who’s swamped with end of the year projections, your mother, father, sister, brother.  People have helped you in the past.  Time to pay it forward.

Say “please” and “thank you.” Gratitude begets gratitude.

A smile is such a gift.  Really.  It can change the course of a stranger’s day, and in turn, your own.

…and hug a lot all people you love…!

Hug therapy

“Hugging is the ideal gift. Great for any occasion,
fun to give and receive, shows you care, comes with its own wrapping and, of course, is fully returnable.
Hugging is practically perfect.
No batteries to wear out, inflation-proof, nonfattening, no monthly payments, theft-proof and nontaxable.”

The theory is that touch is not only nice. It’s needed! Scientific research supports the theory that stimulation by touch is absolutely necessary for our physical as well as our emotional well-being.

Therapeutic touch, recognized as an essential tool for healing, is now part of nurses’ training in several large medical centers. Touch is used to help relieve pain and depression and anxiety, to bolster a patient’s will to live, and to help premature babies who have been deprived of touch in their incubator to grow and thrive.

Various experiments have shown that touch can:

– make us feel better about ourselves and our surroundings

– have a positive effect in a child’s development and IQ

– cause measurable physiological changes in the touchers and the touched

We are just beginning to understand the power of touch. While there are many forms of touching, we propose that hugging is a very special therapeutic touch that contributes in a major way to healing and health.

Hugging is healthy. It helps the body’s immune system, it keeps you healthier, it cures depression, it reduces stress, it induces sleep, it’s invigorating, it’s rejuvenating, it has no unpleasant side effects, and hugging is nothing less than a miracle drug.

Hugging is all natural. It is organic, naturally sweet, no pesticides, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients and 100 percent wholesome.

I’ll suggest to read here and to buy this beautiful book The Hug Therapy Book

Searching what?!

8 Nov

***

We search so much for the right choices, the right paths to walk, the right time, the right reasons, and the right person.
But life isn’t just about searching for things.
It’s also about letting the unexpected happen and finding joy in things and people we never searched for.

From the Orient

5 Nov

Finally I returned to my home…
I’m not sure about my feelings right now: this morning I was sad thinking about the past few days, the event, the atmosphere… But in the same time a sense of relief . I’m near to my “comfort zone”: my house!

Four days in the magic orient with the VeganOK: I was so lucky!
Here some roundup about this magic event in Carrara…and next month I’ll have the privilege to know Sharon Gannon in Italy!!!

In this days I had the chance to share my vegan raw experience with a special person (Igor CEO & Founder at Quantic Publishing) and you know it’s really strange for me, actually, have chances like that.

Since I became vegan raw, I shared my ideas tips and experience only with email, blog, forum…never I met a raw vegan person…I mean it’s strange..I’m feeling like drinking salt water: you need to drink more and more and more to satisfy the thirst…!

I met another interesting person: Wang a chinese chef expert in spices. He had a spice’s shop in Viareggio “Spazio Spezie” . I don’t have words to describe the feeling that person like him are capable to pass: notions, passions, different cultures, new points of view…
The Universe, I think, is sending me a message: to be ready and open to ALL in this WORLD…

I’m sorry I’m so tired: I travelled all day and tomorrow I must start my work in office…
I’ll promise to share with you more feelings and things about this incredible experience…but for tonight it’ s all…

Good Night Folks!
